Ten wanted terrorists from a prohibited group were detained by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) during an operation that was carried out in several parts of Punjab.

The intelligence-based operations, according to the CTD spokesperson, were conducted in Lahore, Multan, DG Khan, and Attock. Additionally, the terrorists who were apprehended had guns, detonators, and explosives in their possession.

Further investigation is ongoing as a result of the cases that have been filed against the terrorists.

Seven further people were detained by CTD Punjab concurrently for using social media to propagate hate speech.
