BAHAWALPUR, (APP): According to deputy commissioner of Bahawalpur Zaheer Anwar Jappa, kids should actively engage in both sports and extracurricular activities since they are a wonderful resource for our nation.

He was the chief guest at today’s prize-distribution event for the intercollegiate sports programme at the divisional level at Government Sadiq Egerton College in Bahawalpur.

Principal Govt Sadiq Egerton College Bahawalpur, Director Colleges Bahawalpur Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, Divisional Sports Officer Aamir Hameed, Deputy Director Colleges Taslim Alam, professors, and students all showed up in great numbers on this occasion.

He was pleased with how well the pupils did in the contests. He inspired them to engage in physical activity. Government Graduate College for Women Dubai Mahal Road Bahawalpur won the hockey tournament, while Government Associate College for Girls Dahrawala came in second, according to the results of the divisional level intercollegiate sports programme.

In cricket, Government Associate College for Women Haroonabad took second place, while Government Graduate College for Women Dubai Mahal Road Bahawalpur took first.

Government Graduate College for Women Khairpur Tamiwali Bahawalpur took top place in the badminton events, while Government Associate College for Women Ahmedpur Sharqia came in second.

In the volleyball tournaments, Government Associate College for Women Yazman Bahawalpur took second place, while Government Associate College for Women Sadiqabad District Rahim Yar Khan took first.

In the gymnastics competition, Government Graduate College for Women Dubai Mahal Road Bahawalpur took first place.

Government Graduate College for Women, Harunabad, took first place in the sports competition, while Government Associate College for Women, Yazman, took second place. Rahim Yarkhan of Government Associate College in Liaquatpur District took top place, while Government Sadiq Egerton Graduate College in Bahawalpur came in second.

Government Sadiq Egerton College Bahawalpur took first place in the Football (Boys) tournament, while Government Graduate College Chishtian District Bahawalpur took second place.

Government RI College Haroonabad District Bahawalnagar took first place in the boys’ badminton championship, with Government Khawaja Farid Graduate College Rahim Yar Khan taking second.

Government SE Graduate College Bahawalpur and Government Graduate College Chishtian District Bahawalpur took first and second place, respectively, in the boys’ volleyball tournament.

Government SE College Bahawalpur took second place while Government Graduate College Chishtian took top place in the Kabaddi tournament.

Government SE College Bahawalpur took first place in the wrestling tournament, while Government Khwaja Farid Graduate College Rahim Yarkhan took second place.

Government SE Graduate College Bahawalpur won the gymnastics paper, while Government Graduate College Chishtian district Bahawalnagar came in second. In the athletics tournament, Govt Sadiq Egerton Graduate College Bahawalpur took first place.
