In the Balochistan province of Dukki, a coal mine worker was killed after a landslide destroyed the mine.
When the avalanche occurred, the coal miner was allegedly removing coal from deep below the mine, killing him instantaneously. Local miners and rescuers discovered the deceased miner’s body and carried it to Dukki’s district headquarters hospital.
Abdul Haleem, an Afghan miner, was recognised as the deceased worker. The miner’s body was sent to Afghanistan once the necessary administrative procedures were completed.
