On Wednesday, a fire broke out at Bulleh Shah Paper Mills in Kasur, killing at least two workers and injuring 15 more. The dead and injured have been sent to a hospital.

The fire, which began at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, is still raging after more than 13 hours. According to officials, 11 fire engines and 55 fire fighters are battling the blaze.

The fire departments and rescue squads of Lahore and Okara have also been called in to assist in putting out the fire.

Dr. Rizwan, DG Rescue Punjab, also went to the location to assess the situation and the rescue operation. He calculated that putting out the fire, which had spread to a big shed of the paper mills, would take two days.
