On Tuesday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) heard a case challenging the PECA Amendment Ordinance 2022, which amends the Prevention of Electronic Crime Act (PECA).
IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah noted throughout the hearing that the legislation is being utilised against critics. He went on to say that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement proved that he had been misled on the subject.
