The detained leader of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Chaudhary Tanvir, was transported from Lahore to Rawalpindi’s Cantt police station on Saturday.
Chaudhry Tanvir was caught by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport yesterday as he sought to flee overseas.
Today, a Karachi-based Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) squad transported the legislator to Lahore.
On Sunday morning, ACE officials would bring Tanvir before a duty magistrate.
The PML-N leader was wanted by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE). Following his arrest, an ACE Rawalpindi team was despatched to Karachi to take custody.
