ISLAMABAD: After police prevented PTI supporters from conducting a protest in Sialkot on Saturday, former Prime Minister Imran Khan encouraged all party members to take to the streets after Isha prayers to protest the “imported government.”
In the early hours of Saturday, police raided PTI supporters for holding a public gathering in a Sialkot park without the authorization of the Christian community.
The Sialkot authorities denied the PTI’s request for a political assembly on private land, but offered other alternatives.
