Taxila (A News) – Sardar Mumtaz Khan, divisional vice president of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) from Taxila, joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ( PTI ).
Former PML-N ticket holder organised an event at his home to formally announce his membership in PTI. Ghulam Sarwar, a senior PTI politician, was also present at that time.
Mr. Sarwar said that the PML-politics N’s did not represent the people or the country, but the PTI’s efforts were aimed at preserving Pakistan’s sovereignty and Imran Khan’s policies were for the development of future generations.
The former minister stated that other political parties had shrunk to a regional level, and the PTI was the only party with a national representation.
In the 2018 elections, Sardar Mumtaz Khan ran on the PML-ticket N’s against Chaudhry Nisar and Ghulam Sarwar Khan.
