BAHAWALPUR (APP): Maryam Nawaz, the Pakistan Muslim League-senior N’s vice president and chief organiser, said on Thursday that her party will easily win the next elections by crushing its rivals.
She was speaking at a press conference at this location with the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Minister for the Interior, Rana Sana Ullah, and other PML-N officials.
She said that the PML-N was completely ready to run in the next elections for seats in the National Assembly, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
She predicted that the PML-N, which is the country’s biggest political party, will easily win the 2018 elections by ousting Imran Khan and his associates.
The senior vice president of the PML-N said that claims of political persecution were false propaganda.
She said that the guilty and criminal party should be punished and brought to justice.
We oppose political victimhood, and it is obvious that the misinformation advanced by our political adversaries about political victimisation is untrue.
She said that our political foes had been spreading untrue and erroneous rumours that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and the party’s leadership did not get along.
She said that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the former prime minister, was like a part of the Sharif family and that he was their buddy. She said that PML-N has put all necessary plans in place to run in the forthcoming elections.
She questioned why the previous administration opened the borders with a neighbouring nation in reference to the bombing of the Peshawar Mosque.
She asked, “Who opened borders for terrorists.”
Maryam said that the troubles, issues, and challenges the general populace is experiencing are the fault of the former administration.
Financial hardships were brought on for the country’s citizens by the incorrect financial policies implemented by the Imran Khan-led administration, she said.
She vehemently denounced the Pehswar explosion, which killed innocent police officers.
She bemoaned the fact that despite the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) having ruled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for ten years, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) lacked even an office building in Peshawar.
According to the senior vice president of the PML-N, the PTI administration in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received significant funding to fight terrorism and uphold the rule of law, but even KP police were unable to acquire contemporary weaponry and equipment.
Since they continue to use the Punjab government’s forensic lab, the PTI-led KPK administration was unable to even build its own.
She declared her support for the community of journalists’ rights.
However, she said that certain bad actors have broadcast misleading and unsubstantiated propaganda against the government and the PML-N under the cover of so-called journalists.
She claimed that she had started the PML-N party campaign in Bahawalpur at the central leadership’s request.
