LAHORE: According to A News, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to arrest PTI chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in a banned financing case.
According to information source by A News, Imran Khan would be apprehended by the FIA with the assistance of Lahore police.

A four-person team has also been constituted for the arrest, and a summary has been given to the DG FIA for final approval.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) denied an appeal brought by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) verdict in the illegal financing matter on February 2.
It is worth noting that the Investigation Agency has opened an investigation against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) head and ten others on suspicion of accepting foreign funds. The FIA Corporate Banking Circle has registered the matter.

According to the case’s First Information Report (FIR), the accused, including the former prime minister, violated the Foreign Exchange Act, and all of the named individuals were beneficiaries of the private bank account.
