The Met Office anticipates mostly hot and dry weather over the next 24 hours throughout much of the country’s plains, with gusty winds in the afternoon.

The Met Office, however, warned that isolated spots in Eastern Sindh, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and its surrounding regions might see light rain and wind thunderstorms.

According to the Synoptic Situation, the bulk of the country is experiencing continental air. There is a shallow westerly wave over the upper areas of the country.

During the last 24 hours, the majority of the country saw dry weather, while the southern portions experienced hot weather. The country’s hottest spots remained Shaheed Benazirabad and Sakrand, when temperatures reached 47°C.
