On Monday, bandits stole millions of rupees from a private bank on Barki Road in Lahore district, according to authorities.
Five armed men stormed into the bank, took firearms from security officers, and stole about Rs10 million in cash.
The suspects stole Rs4.1 million from a client and Rs6 million from the cash register.
The gunmen also assaulted and wounded the security personnel for attempting resistance. The suspects took away the guards’ firearms.
