Gulzar Imam Shambe, the leader of the outlawed (Baloch National Army), said on Wednesday that he had been involved in the armed resistance since 2009 and had engaged in severe acts of defiance of the government.

He said that after 2001, a significant portion of Balochistan’s young turned to armed conflict. As a result, the security establishment was forced to avoid certain regions, and he made the decision to travel there and join an armed group.
