In two separate events on Wednesday in Khanpur and Bahawalnagar, two persons were murdered and one was injured. According to sources, the first accident occurred in Khanpur, when a tractor trolley struck a motorbike, killing one person and injuring another.
The second incident occurred in Bahawalnagar, when a speeding car collided with a cycle on the Haroonabad Road, killing a man instantly. According to police accounts, the driver of the car was able to depart the scene of the accident. Rescue teams have brought the deceased and injured to the hospital.
