According to officials, a 22-year-old youth was murdered and 10 people were injured in a confrontation between the Narwahi and Mana Ahmadani tribes in the Dera Ghazi Khan district on Saturday.
Both sides used sticks and knives to assault one other. During the clash, Jahangir, Bashir Ahmad’s son, was murdered, and 10 others were injured.
The deceased and injured were brought to the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Kot Chitta by Rescue 1122 ambulances. A police team arrived on the scene and began investigating.
The vicious altercation was sparked by a quarrel over a marriage proposal, according to preliminary police investigation.
