SHARAQPUR — On Wednesday night, six persons were wounded in a shooting incident sparked by a money dispute in Sharaqpur tehsil of Sheikhupura district, Punjab.
According to accounts, some unknown persons opened fire on a business in Dhol hamlet near Sharaqpur owing to a financial disagreement. When the suspects arrived on the scene, they opened fire on the business indiscriminately, wounding six persons.
The wounded individuals were sent to THQ hospital for treatment. The victims, however, were identified as Ali Ahmad, Amjad Ali, Irfan, Saif, Maqsood, and Hammad.
After being notified of the occurrence, the police came on the spot and began an investigation.
